Message of the President of the Philippines
Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
In our collective mission to impart the richness of our history, culture, and values
to the next generations across the Southeast Asian region, we acknowlegde
the immense importance of those who dedicate their lives to cultivating
wisdom and fostering deep appreciation for one's origins.
The efforts of the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA) and the ASEAN Council of teachers + Korea (ACT+1) in providing an invaluable
platform for regional collaboration, educational innovation, and cultural
exchange among ASEAN educators are a resounding affimation of our goals
to advance the teaching profession and promote regional understanding.
I have full confidence that the participants will become catalyst for positive
transformation in their respective communities
Indeed, events such as these emphasize the common aspiration
of the ASEAN +1 to creat inclusive, adaptive, and resilent educational
systems. It is a proactive and necessary approach in an age of rapid
technoligacal and social change that has become increasingly dependent on
a network of mutual support and shared learning that transcends borders.
As you hold 39th Convention, may you remember that mastery
of knowledge is a continuous process, and we must also exercise empathy,
creativity, and resonance with our regional harmony. It is thus my hope that
this event inspires fruitful discourse, renewed purpose, and stronger partnership
among our educators with solidarity and cooperation, we can achieve
a more educated and empowered Bagong Pilipinas
May you have an insightful and productive convention.
