On behalf of the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA), it is my great honor to welcome you to this prestigious International Convention! We are extremely exuberant to host this gathering of brilliant minds, innovators, and teacher-leaders from around Southeast Asia and Korea. Education has always been the cornerstone of progress. As teachers, we hold in our hands not only the open but also the dreams, potentials and futures of the young people entrusted to us. In ASEAN countries and Korea, despite differences in language, culture, and traditions, we share the same mission: to nurture minds, inspire hearts and prepare our students for a better tomorrow. Our theme reminds us that in this era of rapid change - driven by technology, global interconnection, and shifting local landscapes - the role of teachers become even more crucial. We are no longer mere transmitters of knowledge: we are mentors, innovators, and bridge- builders. We guide our learners not only in acquiring skills, but in developing the wisdom, resilience, and compassion needed to thrive in this complex world. PPSTA is excited to see the collaborations, discussions, and breakthroughs that will unfold over the next few days. We're confident that the connections you make and the knowledge you share will pave the way for new opportunities, partnerships, and advancements in the fields of education and culture.
